benefits
Flexible working hours, inclusive team of developers and entrepreneurs, regular team events and continuous learning sessions.
open positions
Your role will be to work in close collaboration with our backend developers to facilitate the way we control and retrieve data from wind, solar and battery units. You bring in extensive domain knowledge regarding communication protocols and help us build seamless API-based connections to renewable energy plants.
What you’ll be doing:
Assist our backend team in developing an initial OPC UA client (and potential follow-up OPC, Modbus and/or IEC 61400-25 clients)
Ensure our platform will provide a holistic plug and play solution for wind, solar and battery unit owners, irrespective of model and producer
Define, shape and document our customer-facing API
What you need to bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Master’s degree or higher is preferred
A detailed understanding of automation protocols like OPC UA, OPC and preferably Modbus
Practical experience with PLCs and backend programming
Optional: specific knowledge of wind, solar and battery unit interfacing
What you can expect from us:
Flexible working hours and loads to learn
A friendly team of experienced software developers and entrepreneurs
A desire to always exceed our customers’ expectations
A common passion to help make electricity 100% renewable
A deep conviction that we can use software to contribute to our planet’s fight against climate change
If you are interested, please send your CV and a brief summary about yourself to info@resonanz.io. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
Your role will be to develop self-learning applications that derive valuable insights from aggregated wind/solar farm and consumer load profile data. We want to get the most out of the vast amounts of decentralized data available and create an automated value chain which cuts out superfluous manual processes.
What you’ll be doing:
Analyze large amounts of renewable energy plant and load output data and derive insights to increase production and consumption efficiencies
Assess historic and real-time electricity data and forecast weather and market implications in order to match the production of renewable energy plants with expected offtaker consumption profiles
Develop machine learning models to underpin electricity production, consumption and storage optimization strategies
What you need to bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field. Master’s degree or higher is preferred
A detailed understanding of Python, Pandas, Keras/Tensorflow and other data science frameworks
Applied experience with developing machine learning applications
Reinforcement learning and risk estimation skills are a bonus
